Natural Fertility Awareness

Over the last 40+ years a scientifically proven, safe, natural way to achieve, postpone or avoid pregnancy has been developed – Natural Fertility Awareness (NFA).

Couples learn to recognise the days each month when conception is possible and when it is not possible.

NFA is taught successfully worldwide across different cultures and faiths with many couples discovering the freedom and benefits it brings.

Since it draws together the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of marriage, couples find a new depth and strength to their union.

NFA is in accord with the teachings of the Catholic Church and has proved to be a great gift for many couples.

Luton Good Counsel is actively involved in teaching NFA – in particular The Billings Ovulation Method.

People are taught about their fertility: engaged couples, newlyweds, couples wanting a baby, couples who wish to postpone a pregnancy, couples with difficulties conceiving, breastfeeding mothers, more mature couples…and indeed anyone who wishes to learn.

The Joy of God’s Plan DVD
This DVD is introduced by Archbishop Kevin Mc Donald.
In 2003, while still Bishop of Northampton, Archbishop Kevin expressed his wish for couples to have the opportunity to learn the benefits and joys of Natural Fertility Awareness.
